Lavender Honey Scones

Happy first day of Spring!!

I'm so ready for warmer weather. It has been gorgeous in Central Florida the past week. It kills me to be inside working when I want to be outside enjoying the sunshine. I have Spring Fever!

What better way to get you in the springtime mood than with a floral-infused recipe? These Lavender Honey Scones bring together the sweet deliciousness and purity of Isaiah's Garden Pure Honey (my favorite!) and the light flowery taste of lavender buds. They are made with oat flour and rolled oats, and contain no butter or dairy. Yay for clean eating!

Enjoy these while lounging on your porch breathing in the springtime weather with a spot of tea!

~ Directions ~

Preheat oven to 375°.

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together oat flour, rolled oats, baking powder, salt and lavender buds.

In a separate small bowl whisk together almond milk, vanilla, honey, applesauce and egg.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined and a dough is formed. Place the entire batch of dough on a baking sheet in a rounded shape. You can also use a round baking dish.

Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly browned and fork comes out clean. Let cool and cut into 8 slices.
