Savory Pumpkin & Pear Soup

Good morning everyone. Happy Sunday! Hope your enjoying this lovely weekend. Man, has the weather been incredible. Yesterday I finally started to feel fall in the air here in Florida. Went for a run. Drove all day with the windows down and the sunroof open. It was glorious. Too nice to be inside.

I'm pretty dang excited the weather is finally starting to match the season. Because, really, I've been in an autumn mood for the past month and a half. And I was getting to the point where I didn't care anymore how hot the weather was, I'm wearing my fall clothes. Ha!

This also means it's starting to get cool enough to enjoy some nice comfort foods like soup. Pumpkin soup? Yes, please. I threw a few pears in there too for good measure. And it gave a really nice balance of sweet and savory.

Enjoy!
