Apple Pie Overnight Oats

Yes, another autumn overnight oats recipe. Oh, c'mon. You know you want it.

This lovely little dish will make you feel like you're enjoying your favorite Thanksgiving pie for breakfast. That's right people. It's apple pie overnight oats. Adding apple cider and a little butter extract to this recipe works especially well to give it that delicious flavor so many of us know and love. At some point, I feel like I need to try baking this to see how it turns out. Warm baked apple pie oatmeal. Yum!

~ Ingredients ~

½ c. rolled oats
¼ c. unsweetened almond milk (or your milk of choice)
¼ c. apple cider
1 tsp. chia seed (optional)
1 tsp. flax seed (optional)
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. butter extract
2 tsp. maple syrup
Chopped pecans (optional)

Combine all ingredients and store in a mason jar or other sealed container overnight, or at least for a few hours. Top with chopped pecans, or maybe some sliced apples, if desired.
