Peanut Butter Cup Overnight Oats

Who doesn't love a good Reese's Peanut Butter cup? If you raised your hand, I'm not talking to you. Go along your merry way. You have no business here.

Peanut butter cups are one of my favorite sweet treats. It marries two of the most delicious things on the planet: chocolate and peanut butter. Does it get any better than that? I argue that it does not.

Reese's Puffs was my breakfast of choice as a kid. Because, chocolate and peanut butter for breakfast is the bomb, yo. Well, that chocolatey peanut buttery delectable breakfast is all grown up and in your overnight oats. That's right, folks. Peanut Butter Cup Overnight Oats for the win!

~ Ingredients ~

½ c. rolled oats
½ c. unsweetened almond milk (or your milk of choice)
1 tsp. chia seed (optional)
1 tsp. flax seed (optional)
½ Tbsp. cacao powder
½ Tbsp. peanut butter (or almond butter)
½ tsp. stevia
½ Tbsp. cacao nibs

~ Directions ~

In a bowl combine oats, almond milk, stevia, and the chia and flax seed. Move half of the mixture to a separate bowl. Add the cacao powder and cacao nibs to one of the bowls of oat mixture, and the peanut butter to the other, mixing well. Spoon half of the chocolate oats mixture into a mason jar, or other sealable container. Layer the peanut butter oats mixture on top, followed by the remaining chocolate oats. Store in the refrigerator overnight, or at least for a few hours.
